DECEMBER TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS - SATURDAY, JANUARY 4 AT 6 PM

The DECEMBER 2024 Tournament of Champions is scheduled for SATURDAY, JANUARY 4 AT 6 PM (est). The tourney is a 10 tix double elimination with an additional 20 tix added to the champion (compliments of the WEBS ... thank you!)!
In order to play in this tourney, you must have taken 1st place in a crib tourney during the month of DECEMBER. We had a total of 416 tourneys for the month and 69 players qualified for this SPECIAL tournament.

Please note .... If you changed your name since you won a tourney in December, it must be changed back to match your player name on the list below.
Congrats to the following players and .... a special note, we are bringing back the GRAND TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS FOR 2024. Anyone who placed 1st or 2nd place in a Tournament of Champions during the year will be invited to play in a very special GRAND TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS. Once again, the Webmasters will give a special prize payout of 100 tix to the 1st (70 tix) and 2nd (30 tix) players. This tournament is scheduled for Saturday, January 11 at 6 pm (est). Please watch out for more information and your special invitation.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
